In Hernani, we carried out an External Thermal Insulation System (ETICS/ITE) in a community building that presented typical pathologies: cracks, flaking, and waterproofing problems in the balconies. The work included replacing the railings, new waterproofing, and a complete treatment of the building’s envelope, achieving a full rehabilitation. The technical direction was led by an architect, with whom we worked in close coordination. The result was highly satisfactory, both for the community and for us, and the residents were also able to benefit from Basque Government
grants aimed at improving energy efficiency. The façade is now fully protected, with modern insulation and ready for many years of good performance.
