The VTF property in Biarritz is one of the city’s most emblematic houses, with several buildings within the estate. Years earlier, we had already worked on the swimming pool, and due to the client’s satisfaction, we were entrusted with a very special assignment: renovating the main tower, a longnawaited dream of the property’s director before her retirement. The tower had serious damp problems inside, cracks in different areas and general deterioration of structural and ornamental elements. The central wooden spiral staircase suffered from leaks and stains. In addition, a wooden lintel was badly damaged by damp, and the exterior balcony showed rot in several areas, with parts of the railing deteriorated.
The tower regained its majesty and architectural authenticity, with a neat appearance and durable protection against the humid climate of the Basque coast. The client was fully satisfied, receiving congratulations for the quality of the work. Following this project, further regular maintenance works have been entrusted to us, demonstrating the trust established and the importance of keeping one of Biarritz’s most remarkable properties in optimal condition.
