A small residential building (two owners) showing various facade pathologies. The stone had been painted, and the city council required its recovery and restoration. It was a very soft sandstone, which required extremely delicate cleaning. The facade surface also had significant roughness, making the finishing more difficult.
The building gained aesthetic and heritage value, restoring the authenticity of its stone and significantly improving its appearance. Located in the second row from the sea, in the Côte des Basques area, the property now has proper protection against humidity and salty air. Thanks to the intervention, the community enjoys a durable facade and healthier, better-protected interiors, ensuring the preservation of the building for many years to come.
